Dear Sibylla Kiddle Families,
Thank you to the family members who came out to acknowledge Orange Shirt Day with us. We were very fortunate to have Skip Wolf Leg join us for drumming and a round dance, and Mr. Demman lead our school in two songs.
We will continue to teach Truth and Reconciliation throughout the year and follow our TRC commitment of learning on the land in all seasons, while incorporating Indigenous languages.

Leadership Club Spirit Days
Grade 5 Leadership Club has started, and they are hosting their first school-wide Spirit Day on Friday, October 9.
It will be a Pajama and Stuffie Day!
Please note that stuffies must be small enough to sit on the desk.
We look forward to being comfortable in our PJs and meeting all of the stuffed friends!

Terry Fox Grand Total
Thank you so much to our families for donating to the Terry Fox Foundation.
We collected $1,029.80 and one Mexican peso at school, plus another $890 online, for a grand total of:

Annual Notice: Video Surveillance at the School
Our school has a video surveillance system to help maintain a safe and secure environment at the school for students, staff, and the public, and to help address vandalism and criminal activity on school property.
The video surveillance system is installed and reviewed in accordance with Administrative Regulation 1066.
Personal information is collected under the authority of the Education Act and the Protection of Privacy Act (POPA), specifically section 10(1) and the Access to Information Act (ATIA).
This technology can be placed in areas such as:
- School parking lots
- Building entrances and exits
- Stairwells
- Hallways
This information is recorded and collected to help maintain a safe and secure environment in the school and on school property.
The users of this information are the principal or designate and law enforcement personnel in the case of reported incidents that would require an investigation. Only authorized persons will review video surveillance information.
