Taking Time to Rest

Teacher-Led Conferences

Our next set of school conferences will take place on November 23 and 24, 2023. During these conversations, teachers will provide you with an update on your child’s learning and discuss their next steps.

We strongly encourage parents to include their children as part of the conversation. This allows students to have a voice in their learning goals and to take personal responsibility for their learning.

Conference Booking opens via your MyCBE account on Thursday, November 16 at 8:00am. Once signed in, click on “MyCBE” then click on “my School Conferences”.

Understanding Vaping | Child & Youth Well-Being Series

Across Canada, e-cigarette use, also known as vaping, is reaching new heights amongst teenagers. This presentation will focus on common devices used for vaping, substances vaped such as nicotine and cannabis, and the health risks associated with vaping. We will present on how to engage in challenging conversations with your young person regarding vaping.
This session is hosted in partnership with experts from Alberta Health Services and is offered free of charge for staff, families and caregivers and will benefit anyone interested in learning more.

Date | Thursday, Nov. 16 Time | 6:30-8 p.m.

Veteran’s Food Bank Thank You

Thank you families for your outstanding support of our Veterans Food Bank Drive. We were able to collect twelve large boxes of items to donate to the Veterans Food Bank. Thank you for sharing in the spirit of generosity. It is appreciated.

School Council/Parent Society Notes

We are looking for more volunteers to support our fun lunch days. We are hoping for volunteers who can stay over the lunch hour to support with delivery, hand-out and clean-up in classrooms. If you are interested in volunteering for fun lunch, please use the sign-up genius link below.
